Caubo “All the Right Moves” at The Hamilton Convention Centre

A wonderful time in Hamilton

We were hired by the wonderful Marie-Sylvie to host this great event in Hamilton.

The good people at Caubo hold this annual event to inspire their members, and remind themselves how far they have come. In short they have all the right moves.

We brought the big guns out for this one with our 8 piece band featuring the Parkside Horns. These folks really knew how to party, dance floor packed from song 1 right until the end of the night. Just fantastic.

Thanks so much to Caubo

Patricia and John at Windermere House

A
n amazing wedding in Windermere.

We had the privilege of being involved in every aspect of Patricia and John’s incredible Muskoka wedding.

We began with some beautifully arranged ceremony music, moved into smooth cocktail jazz, a little dinner music, and then our 6 piece band took the night home with our show stopping dance set.

The venue was absolutely gorgeous, right at the waters edge, in beautiful Northern Ontario.   The guests ate, drank, and danced all night.  A perfect wedding, for an incredible couple.

Thanks so much to Patricia and John

Jillian and Joel at one King West

A great time at One King West

Jillian and Joel were looking for a great band for a classic Jewish Wedding Celebration.

Starting with the ceremony, our musicians moved from some beautiful ballads, a little swing music during cocktail hour, the traditional Horah, some great dinner music, before kicking off the dance party when the sun went down.

Everything with One King West was beautiful, and Joel and Jillian planned the wedding to a Tee.  (With the help of the good folks at Heidi Gruenspan wedding planning)

All in all a fantastic affair from start to finish.

Thanks so much to Jillian and Joel for having us.

Michelle and Pawel at Mississauga Grand Banquet hall

A Stupendous night in Mississauga!

The dance floor was packed until the lights came on at the end of the night, thanks to Parkside Drive’s high energy performance and Michelle and Pawel’s excellent music they provided for our DJ to spin.   A great night all around.

Congratulations Michelle and Pawel!

Michael and Sarah at Liuna Station

Pure Class.

This Hamilton wedding pulled out all the stops.

Sarah and Michael hired us after hearing us perform at wedding in Oakville in 2010. It was an incredible night.

Liuna Station is an incredible wedding venue, a historical landmark in downtown Hamilton, and a fantastic location for the wedding.

This wedding was a perfect mix of modern and classic (just like our band.) A traditional Italian wedding (the food, the drinks, the people!), but with an savvy modern touch.

After a fantastic dinner, our band kicked off a dance party that rolled on until 1:00 A.M. when they turned the lights on. A great group of people dedicated to having the time of their lives.

Thanks so much to Michael and Sarah for a wonderful night.

Adrienne and Chris at McMichael Art Collection

Just Fantastic.

Adrienne and Chris hired Parkside Drive after checking us out online. We were so pleased to be a part of their incredible wedding at McMichael Art Collection.

Parkside hit the stage after dinner, and the dance floor moved for the whole night. With our familiar friend, the McMichael Totem Pole behind us, we moved through everything from modern hits to classic from yesterday.

Adrienne and Chris were absolutely great to work with and for, wonderful people. Everyone left saying, “what a perfect evening”

Thanks again to the happy couple

Jennifer and Andrew @ Balls Falls Big Barn

A Beautiful Rustic wedding.

Jennifer and Andrew thought of every detail when planning this incredible country wedding. From the decor, the custom drinks, the homemade honey, the little light bulbs, everything was too a tee!

…and then the weather was pretty much perfect for an outdoor-ish summer wedding, not a cloud in the sky, warm but not hot, clear and not humid, just fantastic.

Parkside warmed up the barn with a little jazz from our trio, before welcoming the guests of honour to a little “Ho Hey” (with re-written lyrics telling the couples story), and then a fantastic dinner before we kicked the dance floor into high gear.

A great night across the board
Thanks so much Jennifer and Andrew!

Hoedown Throwdown with TC Transcontinental

Yee-Haw!

Ammmmmazing night at Steam Whistle Brewery for TC Transcontinental Hoedown.

The good people of Transcontinental throw a yearly soiree, and each one is better than the last.

This one had it all; Line dancers, cowboy hats and bandanas, hay bails, down home cooking, and of course Toronto’s best event band, Parkside Drive.

We had a ball. Brought in our good friend Kevin to play some Pedal steel, and banjo. And, the incredible Miss Maya to add a little fiddle flavour to this country cook-out.

What a party!

Thanks so much to Tara, Laura,Ray, all the great staff at Steam Whistle and everyone who made this event a huge success.

Sick Kids Fundraiser at One King West

A great night with the wonderful people of Sick Kids Charity.

This evening was filled with all the best. A live auction, some hilarious video footage, a great DJ and of course Toronto’s best event entertainment, Parkside Drive.

We kicked the night off with some dance and funk and the party didn’t stop from then on.

Always great to play for a great cause!

Thanks to Anya, and all the folks at Sick Kids.

Blackberry ‘Tiny Bubbles’ Event

An incredible evening with the good people of BlackBerry-Research in Motion.

We were contacted by our friends at the 194 Group, a fantastic organization who specialize in making events larger than life.

The BlackBerry event was no exception!  We had Parkside Drive playing, we had an incredible dance/contortion troupe moving, we even had Mark Mcewan cooking.

BlackBerry CEO Thorston Heins was on site to lead the charge into 2013, and it was great to spend some time speaking with him about the future of this Canadian Icon.

Thanks so much to Isaiah of the 194 group, and all the great people at BlackBerry!
